The owner wanted the small front garden to look good from above as that was where it was most likely to be viewed from. I used loose rocks and pebbles to create concentric rings from each front corner which look great from above and keep costs down by not using formal garden edging. Lush ferns of all kinds and subtropical planting were used for much of the south facing garden.
